Bear's First Class of Obedience Training.

Last night, July 27 2009, we went to Bear's first class and I was really surprised! I knew he had calmed down a lot since getting neutered but he still surprised me. He responded better to the instructor than he did me! I'm the one that needs the training, just like Cesar says. I can't believe the difference the prong collar makes in control. Bear's First Visit to the Vet

On Thursday June 4th. I took Bear to his first visit to the vet to get checked out. He's pretty well mannered for a 120 lbs. of muscle! The check up went well for the most part. The vet said that he was crypt orchid, and that it should be taken care of A.S.A.P., as it could develop into cancer. I planned on getting him neutered anyway, so I inquired as to the cost. Bear's Story June 1, 2009 It was about 1 o'clock in the afternoon on June 1st, 2009. I was at work where I control access at the main gate of a corporate business/distribution center in the Los Angeles area of Southern California. I knew the day would come, but it's never easy when it does. I had to say goodbye today to my boy Max. He has been going slowly downhill for the past 4 or 5 months, and today when I got home I found him in the backyard with his hind legs sprawled out from underneath him. He was so weak he couldn't get up on his own. So about 5:10 pm I took him to the local VCA Vet office and had him put to sleep. It was the second hardest thing I've ever had to do. To sign the…

Praise you Lord! Since I have recovered from the last surgery on my feet back in November, I have been down yet again. After only 2 days back in normal shoes, (in January) I developed a blister on my left foot. Back off my feet for another 3-4 weeks. The timing couldn't have been worse! When I reached my final week of recovery from the last surgery I began sending out resumes for a new job. So the blister really worried me, even though it wasn't very bad and was…
