Thanks so much for your good wishes for little Sasha. It is very sad to see her like this, hobbling around on 3 legs as she waits for her op, and yet she is still so happy and trying to play with the other dogs. Her tail constantly wags, and it's as if she has got used to the pain, as if it's normal for her, which almost makes us want to cry for her.

Thanks for your good wishes for Sasha. Monday can't come soon enough as we hate to see her hobbling around on 3 legs as she is at present. The surgeon confirmed she has broken the leg again and the next op will be much bigger than we first thought.

Thanks so much for your lovely good wishes for Sasha. I have passed on your hugs and kisses to her, and we will just have to hope that the latest surgery does indeed give her joint a lasting repair and no more pain. She's just such a lovely little pup and doesn't deserve to be going through all this, but we can only do our best to help her through it and make sure she gets all the love and care she needs.

At 9:00am on May 18, 2011, Brian L Porter said…: Thanks for your nice comment Sharon.I've just come back from seeing the orthopedic surgeon, and poor Sasha has broken her leg again when she landed badly while playing the other day. He is going to operate again on Monday and we have to try and keep her quiet and on strong painkillers until then. He'll be putting a new screw and a plate in the joint after resetting the bones again. We love her so much and hate to see her going through all this. She's such a happy girl and even now, her tail never stops wagging. We call her Mrs. Wrigglebottom because when she wags her tail her whole back end wriggles in time with the tail wagging.

The fact it brought you to tears does at least show that it has 'done it's job' in making people realize just what can happen to our best friends, in the wrong hands. Of course, Dylan was one of the lucky ons, where sadly, so many aren't I'm just glad that my wife and I have managed to bring a little happiness, love and comfort into the lives of the dogs we've managed to rescue and take into our family. I do so hope you enjoy your visit to Tilly's blog. It's been running quite a while so there a a whole lot of posts there, which I hope you'll find entertaining.
