Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

Jasmine is my oldest, 9 yrs. I got Jesse so she would have someone to play with. She wanted nothing to do with Jesse. When my mom came to visit she had a puppy left from her recent litter. Minnie and Jesse became best buds and partners in crime. So I couldn't split them up. Jesse is a week older than Minnie.
Madison was on death row at the humane society. She was going to be put down the next day.
