Hi Eeryone,
I first want to wish you all a very happy Holiday and a very Happy New Year! Last year I said, this year has to be better. This past year has been really tough, so I am saying that again. I was wondering if anyone else has a difficult time during the holidays. There are a few reasons for me why Holidays are hard, but I did not know if I was alone with my fellow furr parents. Kolbie's last surgery took every last dime I had and I said then that I would not put him thru that again yet.....if he were to get another lump tomorrow I would be searching for ways to find the money to help him. He is a very vibrant, happy 6 year old boy. He is not sick in any way.....other than he has these cancerous MAST cell tumors that grow whenever they want. I have been led to believe that if I do not remove them, he will then get sick. Though the VET said something to the effect after his last surgery that they most likey would NOT turn into anything. I really do not know what to believe anymore. Why did she say that AFTER his surgery? And, it took him longer to recover than his previous 2 surgeries and this is why I said I could not put him thru this again. How do you know what is right? And when do you know when to stop? I am not working due to a back injury so I scrape by myself......but would do ANYTHING for my boys.....
On a different note.....I have been on different type of sites as well as following this one as it has changed and combined. I am now confused and have forgoten what we are using as far as a layout for our pages? Where are we getting the images for the backgrounds? Is it still a ning background? I used to change my page with the holidays and I have been so out of touch lately. Just wondering if someone could help me out. Thank you!
Again, Happy Holidays to everyone!

Hey sweetie, yep, if u want the default page, just click on settings, then apprearances, that will bring you to a window with template, u can play if you want and change a template, make sure to SAVE once your done.
All of the pages with movement are www.themeworxs.com you join and then you serf threw the site, find a theme, then copy the code of the theme you like. Come back here and go into settings, then click apprearances, then scroll down to the box that says options, click on the advanced tab.. this is key u must delete ALL THE CODE IN THE BOX, then u just paste the themeworxs code into the box and hit save and your done, walla a fancy page!!
As for graphics, i get allot from www.glittergraphics.com or when some one posts your greeting you may see a name below it, if you click on that you will be taken to that page. Now you don;t have to buy or join anything ok to copy grphics. i hope this helps. I too create pages and that is done by coping a graphic and saving it to your computer, then you do the same thing, settings, go into appearances , down to the options box, click on that, see it open up little boxes, u can change the color of your text, make sure to tile all your graphics otherwise only 1 will come up
As for the vet absolutely seek out another vet, for her to say that after the surgery really makes me wonder. I have the same thing with zena having diabetes, they want to test this and that and its not always necessary, its a scam, they make me pay 60.00 to get a antibiotic for an issue with her nose, i said NO Way, u said you don;t know and i am not putting her threw all that. I to am totally broke, i may loose my internet soon too. I can only hope and pray things get better soon.. take care girl wandap
Hi Ali:
Merry Christmas to you and the fur babies. I think Christmas can be difficult for all of us at times because of losses and sad memories. I am sorry you are going through such a difficult time, just believe next year will be better. As far as the backgrounds are concerned the only site I know of is Themeworx. That is Ning, I'm sure there are others I just don't know what they are. I am sure others on here can help you with that. Perhaps you should take Kolbie to another Vet if the lump occurs again. Some dogs get these lumps and they aren't malignant but I am not an expert on this so I would get another Vet's opinion if possible. You take care give the babies a big hug and have a peaceful Christmas.
Hugs Kathi
