"Resolution #1: I will eat less and exercise more.
Too many nights on the couch, too many dog biscuits and too little time running around the local dog park has made me a little, well, fluffier.
I don't think the old "I'm-just-big-boned" excuse will work anymore. I resolve to bug my owner to take me out to the doggy park several times a week.
Resolution #2: I will beg less
I've got begging down to a fine art – he's puddy in my…

We went to the dog pound today to pass on our seasonal greetings to our friends there and we had a look around while we were there. They'd had so many dogs in over Christmas that they were even using the stables as overflow accommodation! Someone had even left a beautiful Saluki tied to their gates on Christmas Eve. They only found it by chance at 11 p.m. so the poor thing could have been out there all night if the owner of the kennels hadn't gone for a last look round the place…

What first started out as a activity that just children participated in when enjoying their adolescence has become an activity that most adults partake in now a days. The common activity that I am talking about is the dressing of our dogs. This has turned into a popular activity that has made dog clothing store's pop out in the middle of no where and these stores are a good investment since it seems that everyone is doing this.
It is not just dog clothing that is profitable from the…

I'm happy to say that Tilly's Tale has picked up another 5 star review at Amazon.com. this follows hot on the heels of the previous two reviews received this week. The 'wag-o-meter' on Tilly's tail is almost off the scale. It just won't stop wagging! Tilly also 'signed' a couple of books at the dog training academy yesterday. She's getting rather good at it...lol
Here's the latest:

I'm delighted to be able to add not one but TWO wonderful 5 star reviews received on Amazon and Barnes & Noble by Tilly's Tale. I'm so pleased that the book seems to be doing exactly what it was intended to in terms of reaching out to educate and inform people about the plight of abused and neglected dogs, and about the great work of those who work so hard to rescue and re-home them. As for Tilly, she's so happy her 'wagometer' has gone off the scale and her tail muscles must be…

At long last I've managed to get Tilly to agree to pose for a photo with a copy of Tilly's Tale.
Here she is, seated in my office chair of course, from where the book was written. Tilly's Tale is available from the following sources:
Tilly’s Tale

I'm so pleased that the management at The Mayflower Sanctuary, where we first found Tilly, have given Tilly's Tale a lovely write up in their regular newsletter that goes out to all of their supporters and interested persons. they not only featured the book and the cover, but included pictures of Tilly, Dylan and Charlie who of course all came to us through The Mayflower. It's a lovely, kind gesture by Jennie and the staff at Mayflower and I'm so very grateful to them for the…
