PetBrags Pet Lovers Paradise: Pet Community for All Pets

Pet Community: Dog Community - Cat Community - All Pets - MySpace for Pets

Friends, I came home so sick! I watched on News, Fox2, how a group of people looking for mushrooms made this outrageous discover: a small dog cage with a bigger dog stuffed inside and left to die! Now they are asking who saw somebody suspicious on Saturday going into the woods; and, by the way, it happened in Saint Charles county, in the wood area. So close to where I live! I am disgusted and sometimes I am afraid that, I'd be left in the same room with such a beast, just for 5 minutes, I could become a "beast" like them, because I would just like to torture them and applying the same "treatment" they did with these poor beings!
Sorry, I don't want to upset anybody, but I had to share with you!

I totally agree with you, I think I would become so violent that I would probably do some damage.  How is the dog?  Is he/she being cared for?  If you ever go on Facebook and read about the dogs and cats needing rescue it would drive you insane.  I can't handle that anymore, although I do try to help with rescues it becomes very disheartning and if you get to caught up with it very depressing.  I just hope and pray the day will come when this no longer happens to any animal, I doubt it will be in my lifetime though.  I volunteer with the SPCA and a Greyhound rescue and that can be emotionaly draining so I do understand your feelings.  Take care my friend and anytime you want to vent we are here for you.

I am going on Facebook, and I sign as much petitions as I can, this is all what I can do, besides the monthly donation at Humain Society from Missouri. We can't do too much, it seams nobody is listening, there are laws which are ignored, and dogs and cats die more and more with every day; I am so disgusted and sick of all these sick minds! To answer to your question: No, they found dead that poor dog; how could he survive being a large dog in a small cage? I wonder if he died in that cage, in pain and suffering, or he was just put there after he died? Who knows? I just pray they will catch that beast who did it; it seems it is a pleasure, an entertainment for these sick minds to torture animals.

I also watched today the answers at the question if the experiments on animals should continue; I was again disgusted of the answers; just one man said he'd do experiments on all the criminals, not on animals. Good for him!

Marina I agree. People like that who show no compassion and hurt innocent animals should be keelhauled. they are the bottom of what humans can become and what some of them are. Are the dogs allright? it is beyond me how some people can do these evil deeds. In my book they loose all rights including the right to live. I hope the judge throws the book at these sobs if they find out who did it. I agree with Kathi. I get news all the time about greyhounds and galgoes that have become victims of abuse and torture I think it becomes all too easy to hate however I live for the happy endings as they are the ones that enable me to continue the work ahead namely helping as many greyhounds as I can one soul at a time. Dear Marina as Kathi said vent when you feel like it we are here for you.
how cruel  sometimes its hard to comprehend that humans can do such horrible things to animals  i know it happens all over the world  and alot of cruelty goes unreported what is the matter with these people what goes through their mind when they are acting like this, only last week there was a news report that a cat had an arrow right between his eyes  fortunately  it didnt hit any major organs and the cat was found and is now in recovery  it was two youths about 18yrs old that had fired the arrow at the cat they have been caught and are now awaiting sentence, saying that though i think the courts should be a lot more tougher when sentencing someone for anima lcruelty  over here  they either get a fine and are forbidden to ever own any animal as a pet or they just do a few weeks in prison   surely thats not enough to deter them .Its a sad world we live in were people want to cause harm or death to an animal
