update: my pets health issues

I made a blog before about my cats and dogs many health problems. Here's an update. The flea problem; i bought more flea medicine(vectra) and capstars(pills that kills fleas in 20 mins). Every pet took them, some didnt like having a pill shoved down their throat(cats), steel was use to this(because I give him lots of pills and medication). Within 30 minutes, the cats were licking like crazy, itching, scratching. Shakespear got so crazy about the fleas that he jumped on a scratching post and it fell over, then he dashed over to the couch, and 5 mins later he was licking himself on the counter. I had to put him outside before he destroyed the house. The other cats just iched and scratched, freaking out about the fleas moving all over their body. Steel was outside the whole time, but im sure he was scratching and biting too. That night I found dead fleas everywhere, It is disgusting. Poor blossom had flea poop all over here white fur, which she kept licking all night. The next day, i personly put flea medicine on all the pets. I plan to have a professional carpet cleaner come over and clean the carpets. And flea bomb the house.

 

Steel: He got better. Ear infection disappeared, the chewing his butt stopped. he was 96% okay. Then he start really chewing, and biting. And we took him to the vet. Every thing was good, except the skin allergy. He had 5 hot spots on him, mostly near his tail and butt. We left 200+ dollars less, and 2 things of pills to give him twice a day. So he is curently taking pills of medication and flea medicine.

By now theres a lot of dead fleas everywhere. I'm going to vaccum soon, then give each pet a brushing outside. The carpet cleaner will be here in a week or 2. Steel is doing better with the medication, but still bites/chews this tail and butt.

 

i'm glad the fleas are gone though.

How are they doing today?  I hope things have settled down a bit so you can have some peace.  As long as you got rid of the fleas that is the important thing!
