What are your pet peeves? Not so pet - friendly places? Irresponsible owners? Something your petkid does that drives you nutz?

I'll second Bragger's comment! And add I is really maddening when these loose dogs think it is a good idea to relieve themslves on my son's backpack while he was waiting for the bus!
Another problem that comes to mind is barking dogs. I have new neighbors who must be hard of hearing. Their two large dogs are out there barking all day and most of the night! It drives me insane. So I guess my major Pet Peeve is irresponsible pet owners!

I don't think I could have a bigger PET peeve than when an owner doesn't use a leash or a fence for their dog! Perfect example: I have a neighbor with small dogs. The dogs are adorable and wouldn't hurt a flea. BUT, what happens when someone walks by with a large dog, or an aggressive dog, and they are doing the right thing - - and have their dog on a leash? Or maybe someone like me with a fragile back, or an older person just trying to enjoy a nice quiet neighborhood walk? Even my small dog deals me fits wanting to play with the little guys off the leash. It truly hurts my back. OMGosh, what if I had a bigger dog? And of course, the little guys run out to the street barking and growling. It's a nightmare. It's not fair to the person doing the right thing with the larger dog, or any dog for that matter. It's not fair to the little dogs if they get hurt. These owners/pet parents make me CRAZY! I will never understand why people can't stop and think, who all they are hurting - - and especially the risk they take for their cute little dogs! Ok J, that's my PET PEEVE! :-)
