My Peacocks!

When I was younger (too young to remember!) my family owned 2 peacocks! We got them at an animal sale for £50 (Irish Pounds). We brought them up to be fabulous lookng birds. The cock would climb up our wall, up on to our shed roof and he would display his "tail". Cars would drive past and honk their horns and some people nearly crashed in to our wall from being so distracted by him! Sadly, we live beside a field where many foxs roamed. My mother awaoke 1 morning and went 2 feed them when, as you can probably tell where I'm leading this story, they were both missing. My mother called all our neaighbours, asking them had they seen the peacocks. None of them had. We never saw them again.
