now this is funny

i usually take my 6 year old grandson to his football practice but tonite his dad took him instead. well during practice a bear came out of the woods pass parents with the kids chasing after it. they stopped the kids before anything could happen and the bear got away. i can laugh about it because nobody got hurt. we all know mama bear could have been around the corner. of course i would run to if 20 kids are coming after me. lol

also the kids got a talking to about safety with the wild animals. as i said i wasn't there but i can say in 30 years of coaching kids this never happened to me. lol

That is funny Don! Did anyone get pictures? Poor bear probably was scared to death with 20 kids running after it!!! What a great learning opportunity for them.

I am happy they got out of it with their lives intact if it was a female with cubs she could have torn both the kids and you apart and she would have too. Thank God you are all right I hope you taught those kids never to get any where near any kind of wildlife again even deer pack a punch. Thanks for sharing though. kids realy know how to get into trouble.
