ChiChi Update

Hi!

Looks like I have the perfect candidate for Chi Chi! An older gentleman called today looking for a chi x, and I told him about Chi Chi, apparently they are an older couple and recently lost their 2 chi.'s to old age. So cross your fingers and paws;) he just might have found a good home. I hope everyone had a happy turkey day!

Thanksgiving was ok. It’s always nice to see family, but my grandmother wouldn’t allow us to bring Minion, so we had to leave her home. It was only for a couple hours, and when we got back, it was all Minions’ time. She’s getting so big, we to her to the vet this weekend for her final booster shot, she’s up to 16 pounds! Sad Misha

Misha has been very sad since pop pop left us. But on Friday, she did get to see him one last time. She was very protective of him in life, and was even so on that day. I'm glad she got the opportunity to see him one last time. Hopefully she will understand, and help the rest of us to be at peace as well. Puppies are very intuitive little people, and I hope her presence was a comfort to dad's spirit. We will all miss him so much.

Max's Prognosis

Well, we decieded not to have the surgery... he's just too old and we can't put him thru that again. He's doing well on the stool softener and pumpkin, so we're just praying for him and keeping him as comfortable as possible. Thank you all for your prayers.

The cold can be an interesting thing at first.........

I had to laugh at poor Hailey and Comet. We woke to a nice layer of ice, and a wind blowing harder then any else this year. Of course Comet has never experienced anything like that, so she was almost frantic to get in after the quickest pe on record. I thought Haley was going to blow over form the strong wind. Poor little thing was too happy to relieve herself hurriedly as well.

Tracking across the ice was interesting as the door to the bulding is downhill. Getting up the hill…

Goodbye Pop-Pop

Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving getting past over these days so quickly, I wanted to share what I have my children do. I have each of them write a paragraph or two about what they are and have been thankful for over the year. Then they each take turns reading it at dinner. Baloo!!!

Yesterday we were and taked a look on my parents new dog Baloo and he was so cute.

Realy cudely and sweat. I´ve got the feeling of wanting a dog on my own when I meet him.

Ratty Treats and chews!

I am going to list the treats found in stores, that are

good for ratties. Don't forget! While it may be very tempting to

give your animal baby a lot of treats (especially when they give you

that adorable "treat!?" look) remember that treats should only make up

10% of any animals diet. You don't have to be very strict on this

rule, but it helps your animal baby in the long run.
