Each of our boys came to us in a unique way.
My husband and I had wanted another dog for a long time and I told
God that it would be easy for Him to bring one to the door.
And...well...one day...
One of our boys was found pacing up and down the intersection where we lived.
My husband had gone outside at a time of day that was not even normal for us.
He recruited help and we lured him in with a bite of chicken.
No collar, or microchip found so we… Continue

Hi,
We have noticed that Poppy has 3 small red / pinkish spots under her nose, just above her mouth. Not sure how long they have been there, noticed them tonight. She has been digging in the garden over the last few weeks and Dave thinks she may have been bitten by something when she was doing this, she does have a thing for putting her nose in where she shouldnt!!! They dont seem to bother her and she hasnt shown any signs yet that they are itchy. Can anyone shed any light on what…

Titan has only been with me since November 20, 2008, so not all of the bugs (pun intended) are out of his system yet. First, I had to put some weight on him because he was still too skinny when I got him. On top of that, he had chronic diarrhea, which is common in German Shepherds due to that shorter colon which is akin to the wolf (dogs are carnivores, wolves and dogs that are more closely related to them tend to have systems which make it even more important to feed a natural raw diet like…

Everything died in my 30 gallon fresh water tank, including my beloved Rope Fish. I feel horrible for this because it could have been prevented. What's worse, I think it might be the cause of Eyes, my Leopard Gecko going blind this past year. How could I have been so stupid? Usually my pets live for years... some even live past their life spans.
I take very good care of my pets, but the rusty tank stand supporting my 30 gallon (previously my mum's tank and stand that she's had for…

Hi guys,
Can anyone please advise me as to why our Poppy dog has stopped eating? She is fed twice daily, Iams Proactive, which she has been on now since December. She usually can't wait to tuck in but, for the last few days she has ignored her food and not even attempted to eat it during the day. She is happy in herself and still loves being around us but she's just not interested in her food. I have tried feeding her by hand, she takes a few biscuits to her bed and then spits…

Feel like spoiling your hamster once in a while? As with any domestic pet, special treats are available for hamsters from your pet store. They come in colorful packets and could easily be mistaken for treats you and I would eat. However, as with any special treat, moderation is the key; these treats are tasty for a reason, and that reason has a name: sugar! Too much sugar can cause obesity in your hamster, so reserve these treats for the odd occasion.
In addition to…

Hi it is me Rainbow Brigth just dropping a line before I go take a nap , because I had a long day enjoying the nice weather. The reason why i am enjoying the weather is that my mommy had decied to open up the windows for me to enjoy the nice fresh air , because we litterally got in to the mid 50's here in the great state of CT, and I was litterally sweating my fur coat Just Kidding LOL. So Like I said before my mom deiced to open up the windows to let the fresh air in which I really thougth it…

Then you need to try these dog treats that I just got in the mail from a wonderful baker. I got them yesterday and my dogs went nuts over them. The Border collie that I have is a very finicky dog about what she eats. She has always been that way, and sometimes she won’t even eat her own food. What can I say, she is a border collie and would much rather be out herding something. Anyway, she ate these treats like she hadn’t eaten in months.…
