Vet part-2

Okay now I think I know why I wrote venting about changing vets and feeling so crappy about it---Yes, I am a little slow, sometimes a lot slow :)

My Kylee and Shelby had to go today. Kylee has some sort of bite or growth on her eyelid, which now we are treating with some eye ointment topically and waiting to see if it helps or if it gets worse or shrinks or??? It is right in the corner of her eye. My Shelby has an allergy, a skin allergy where she gets allergy shots twice a year, or so.… Continue

Your Vet, Your Pet, You

I have no idea why I am writing this. Believe it or not I feel guilty and in a way disloyal to my long time veternarian of 119 years. He, himself is a good person and awesome vet. A 3 hour wait time and time again, year after year has just warn me down. Out of loyalty to him and his services I stayed. He has always treated my animals well and healed their many illnesses and wounds.

The run away dogs!!

Yesterday was Sunday but there was no late lie on for our family!!

My mam woke up and saw my brother had left the gate open and the dogs were missing....

It was about 8 o clock and everyone had to get up and walk around the roads and fields looking for my yorkie and afghan hound!

Eventually, we found them, sopping wet from the rain playing with another dog.

We don't know who owned the other dog but we were so happy we found them.

Pepper pranked Bandit!

You see, Pepper, Titan and Bandit hang out together a lot. Pepper didn't use to get along with Bandit, but now that they're friends, Pepper likes to make fun of and play pranks on Bandit... as seen here with Pepper laughing. Some bad luck :(

Last week, I had 3 kittens eaten and 1 cat died

Philly had 3 kittens but 1 died after birth and sadly, a week later, she ate the other 2. I was shocked and wanted to know why she did it but I have no idea.

Then the next day, I found my cat Felix who I hand-raised since he was 2 weeks old, killed on my road.

I was very upset, He was the best little cat I ever had and I was so close to him...I still miss :(

Witch Hazel Is Great For Skin Allergies

Every year, around this time, my Jazzi gets a terrible skin rash. Westies are notorious for acquiring skin allergies. She's always been highly allergic to all sorts of things, including most dog foods. She's on a special allergen-free food by Wellness. So, we're good there. She doesn't have any fleas. But, still, she suffers from itching, and scratches her skin until it's red and in a rash.

Anyone here heard of www.dogreatgood.com? If you search the internet with them instead of Google or Yahoo, money is donated to pet rescue. Seems cool and an easy thing to do.
