my pets

i have 2 cats and 1 dog.  all are girls and all are spayed.i work at an animal shelter and work with all breeds of dogs and cats and i can't say that there is any breed that i don't like.i am a big believer in spay and neutering animals.  it is better for their health and it makes them less aggressive. See More

reality check

i work at an animal shelter and we always have pit bulls and am staffs. i love the breeds.  they are awesome dogs.  however, everyone needs a reality check.  all pits and am staffs are NOT like the dogs that are living in your house.am  i saying they are bad dogs?  NO.  far from it.  but i see them when they come into the shelter.  as fighting dogs, bait dogs, beaten up by owners, almost on the verge of being vicious, scared, and ready to eat you if they could get to you.   far cry from your…See More

misunderstood dogs

staffordshire bull terriers are always called vicious dogs. lots of other dogs are to and I dont think its right. Are these dogs really that bad?See More

all are rescues. totally different personalities. zoey is alof. precious is afraid of her own shadow. and she is a big girl. zeva has some issues with the girls. she just came to us in may. they said she was 5 but she is much older. she can be a love but she has a nasty side to her.

Hi Joan, It's so nice to have you join us! Reading your profile shows your love for all kinds of animals,cats & dogs especially, I have a cat named Casey, he was from a litter of kittens that his mother was killed, he came from our Vets office when he was so tiny and has been the best cat ever. He has to suck on my hand before he goes to sleep at night, I'm sure he thinks I'm his mom. I have had Casey for about 11 years and he really is my baby, we have adopted each other!
