WHAT IS BSL (or Breed Specific Legislation)

Breed-specific legislation (BSL), is any law, ordinance or policy which pertains to a specific dog breed or breeds, but does not affect any others. The term is most commonly used to refer to legal restrictions or prohibitions on the breeding and ownership of certain breeds.
BSL judges a dog by appearance, not by temperament. What ever happened to the old saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover?"

Comment by JACQUE on June 23, 2008 at 7:00am: I found it a little choppy. Maybe keep facts and info at the top and all the ads at the bottom. Good info but interrupted by ads selling buttons, t-shirts etc. It makes it look like you're more interested in selling the product rather than concentrating on the subject. Just my opinion...please don't be offended. I believe in your cause. Just needs more content. Have a blessed day!
