Here are some excellent websites for ratty owners. Most of these are where I get most of my information from. :3

The Rat Fan Club! -founded buy Debbie "The Rat Lady" Ducommun, who is very knowledgeable when it comes to rat care. She has also written a rat health care book which many rat vets use as a base to their practice. Check out her "Rat Info" section on articles about Diet, behaviors, health, etc. This is the best source of information on rats!
*Note* I don not agree with everything on her page. For serious medical needs, please take your rat to a knowledgeable rat vet. Please do not use her "do it home surgery" and other serious make shift procedures. She wrote this when there was not that many knowledgeable rat vets but now there a quite a few. She most likely keeps a lot of her info up on the site so that rat owners can take the info to their vet. Again, for serious problems take your rat to a vet! Thanks :3

Rat Assistance & Teaching Sociaty (R.A.T.S.) -Ducommun helped put this site together. It was made to educate not only rat owners, but pet stores, vets, and animal shelters.



Rat Help - a wonderful infomation filled site.



Rat Guide - this site was created for vets, but can be very useful to rat owners. I have found this site to be very helpful in understanding my vet more and how medications are improving my rats health. If you do not want to be confused when you take your rat to the vet, I recommend you look through this site.



Rat Info Packet - A wonderful site put together by darksong17 of the livejournal.com rat community. Full of information and has links to very helpful articles.



Suebee's Diet - many rat owners are unaware that most pet store seed mixes are terrible and incomplete diets for rats. The companyies that make them and those that sell them, are only in it for the money, not a healthy animal. But do not worry, Suebee's Diet is a healthy homemade diet for your rats. My girls give it 2 cute ratty paws up!

Forbidden Foods- a list of foods that can be bad for your rat and why they are.

Rat and Mouse Club of America - A helpful site with loads of information!



RatSauce - another helpful site.



Dapper Rats- I absolutely LOVE this site. Look through everything if you can. There is bunches of information and tones of fun stuff to!
