A beautiful day!

Oh boy, two walks today. It was such a nice day, the weather was cool, and mommy kept telling me to come outside. We saw my friend Sandy this morning. And the firemen. Hee hee. We walked to the firehouse and around, and the firemen were just coming back. As we headed home, we saw Sandy. We didn't see her for a while. She had to have radiation for a fatty tumor on her hindquarter. It was operated on, but they couldn't get it all out. So they tried radiation. I was so happy to see her. She was just like always (except for that bald spot!).

All afternoon mommy and I played in the garden. No bunnies. I like to chase the bunnies. But they're not around much lately. There was a squirrel. He ate one of our pumpkins. Bad squirrel. Mommy picked lots of tomatoes. And string beans. I like string beans. Grandma makes them with butter, and boy do they taste good! But I shouldn't eat too many cause we think they gave my cousin Dusty bladder stones. And we found a little watermelon. That was a surprise. We forgot we threw a few of those seeds in.

Tonight I went on another of my "walk-a-bouts." I got to see Mugsy and Casey. And we brought Casey's mom some tomatoes from the garden. Mugsy's little cousins were visiting, and they love to give me pets. And I think they're so cute. I will miss them since they are soon moving to Tennesee. I wonder if I can visit there too? Now I am exhausted. Tomorrow I will rest with pop-pop. He and I like to sit on the couch and watch TV. He likes "Gunsmoke." I prefer "Blue's Clues" and "Wonderpets." But he hogs the remote. I can only hope that he'll fall asleep and I can change the channel. I'm not too good at that. I usually just end up shutting the TV off.
