Yesterday was my 9th Birthday! It didn't start out a very good day. Mommy was trying to do some work outside, and she found like a billion ants by the garage! Luckily, the garage is far away from the house. But she needed to kill them. So she had to use some buggy spray. So she wouldn't let me come outside and chase my bunnies. I was so mad. Grandma came home last week (that makes me a very happy puppy!) and she was outside too. I was barking and barking and barking, and they just ignored…

Mommy just said that I should write about my happy times! Like today, I went to the park, and we saw Toastie and Snowball. And yesterday... oh boy... I got to walk with Casey and Rosie! I got there late, and they had already started to walk, but they stopped when they saw me, and waited for me to catch up! Actually, Rosie came running towards me! I like to walk with them. Grandma got to come home, but only for four days. She looked so tired, I wished she could have stayed longer. Forget that. I want her to come home. Period. She doesn't seem like my gma much. She looks tired, and worn out, and exhausted. She needs some Misha love to nurse her back. I wish everything was the way it was last year. Pop-pop and me could sit outside in the sunshine. (mommy says she's allergic to the sun, it gives her a headache! :-P). Grandma could take me to the park. Mommy could…

Look the neighbors tried to build a snowman! They should have tried to make a snow-Misha, it would have been much much cuter~!

Mommy took me to the park Saturday, and I met a new friend! His name is Snowball and he is a big poof of white fur. Actually, mommy says he is an American Eskimo. He has very nice parents too. I hope I meet up with him again! I also saw my buddy Toastie (a little Yorkie), but by that time I was a bit pooped and didn't want to play. No problem, I'm sure I'll see Toastie again!

No park today. I think we were going to go, but then I saw my pal Mugsy, and got so excited, that I forgot…

Well, the rain/snow/sleet finally stopped, and the sun came out to play. Mommy took me to the park again! I am getting so spoiled with my grandma not being around. I think Mommy does that to make up for me not having grandma or pop-pop here. I still miss my pop-pop very much, but mommy put his blanket on the couch so I could lay on it. It keeps me warm and cozy.

I hope tomorrow is nice too! Cousin Karen said she would come for a walk with us if we wanted. I would like that very much.…

Oh, how I wish it would snow! Instead, we just get rain. Yuck!

Grandma left to go to Virginia for a few months, and me and mommy are very sad. We miss her. It's like Pop-pop just left us, and now grandma left us. It's very lonely here in the house. We go to the park, but it's cold, and not many of my friends come out in the cold. Sometimes I wish spring would come, them mommy and I could go outside and spend time in the dirt, getting ready to plant stuff. I like to do that. But we…

Pop-pop left us today. I am going to be a very sad puppy for a very long time. He was my hero! I loved him so much, and I know he loved me. May he rest in peace. Please pray for us in our time of need.

Guess what? Pop-pop felt good today and sat outside with me for a while! Oh what fun! We watched mommy try to sow some grass seed. I think she's just really feeding the birds... lol!

Tonight there was a feral cat hiding in the driveway. I chased it all the way across 2 properties! Mommy got real mad though. I don't know why, doesn't she trust me to come back??? Silly Mommy, I know where the beggin strips come from!

Oh what a happy day! Actually two! On Thursday my Uncle Eddie came to visit. He's such fun. He says "You're a dog" but I know he doesn't mean it. He came up with a new game to play. It's like peek-a-boo, but funnier. He hides his face, and then when he looks me in the eye, I have to lick the air. I had so much fun playing with him! I hope mommy knows how to play too. But he had to leave this morning... but then....

Oh I am so excited, Pop-pop is coming home today. I missed him so much. It's been 11 whole days since I've been able to sit on the couch with him and snuggle. I can't wait!!!

It's almost Halloween! I can't wait to see what mommy dresses me as this year. I don't want to be a pumpkin like last time. Pop-pop isn't home yet, but I hope it's soon! I can't wait to sit in the big chair with him and give him lots of love.

Oh no! I didn't mean to. But mommy's been real busy, and she won't let me use the computer (especially the internet) by myself. I guess she doesn't want me to order cases of Beggin Strips online! Hee hee!

Mommy just got back from Washington DC where she helped raise money for "Light the Night" for Leukemia and Lymphoma research. She wanted to bring me, but they won't let me ride the Metro around DC. BOO HISS! ARF! Maybe next year I can convince her to drive into town, that way she can…
