Titan has Demodectic Mange... and a general update on Titan's condition

Titan has only been with me since November 20, 2008, so not all of the bugs (pun intended) are out of his system yet. First, I had to put some weight on him because he was still too skinny when I got him. Fish and Eyes devastated by rust poisoning

Everything died in my 30 gallon fresh water tank, including my beloved Rope Fish. I feel horrible for this because it could have been prevented. What's worse, I think it might be the cause of Eyes, my Leopard Gecko going blind this past year. How could I have been so stupid? I'm adopting a German Shepherd - TOMORROW!!!!

His name is Duke and he's 1 year old. I can't believe this is finally happening! He still acts like a puppy and needs a lot of training, but I'm ready for it. Please pray for Pepper!

Pepper is only 7 years old and is wasting away. There are only two possibilities: a pancreatic deficiency OR cancer. He may be the fastest dog that comes to the dog park (second only to a Greyhound), and he may carry 4-6 pounds on his back for 1.5 hours and still have energy to burn, but he's sick. Male toad gets a new companion

Southern Toads and toads in general are not considered social animals, but rather solitary. I have kept Southern Toads (and one Woodhouse) since I was 9 years old. Another Breakthrough for Pepper - Playing with Other Canines!

A little over a day ago at the dog park, a white dog wanted to play with Pepper by a startling jump-like motion. (I don't know how to describe it.) Pepper mimicked this behavior and they did this back and forth a few times. Today a female brindle Boxer showed up at the park. She had energy and was running around. Fat Fish (fish store) = Skinny Fish

Fat Fish is a little fish store along the Gulf Coast. I bought my lionfish there and I now realize that I rescued it... I really needed a job for a lot of monetary reasons, and I liked that place because they have marine fish and supplies close to home. My new lion fish, and a new found toad

The place I'm looking to get a job at has had a beautiful Black Volitan Lion Fish for over two months. I wanted it since I saw it about 2 weeks ago. Pepper: A New Happy Dog

Pepper came to us at 8 weeks old when granny came for a visit. He bonded with me and we played a lot until I went to a math and science boarding high school. I had to be gone all week each week, so he turned to mum. He had all the love he could ever want, but mum always babied him and got him excited. Amphibians need our help! My very own toads are suffering from the amphibian plague!

I recently learned that 2008 is the year of the frog. I have Planet Earth on dvd thanks to my boyfriend, and it tells of how we might loose half of all amphibian species within our lifetime!! Why? Just a few thoughts

I've been taking 3 - 3.5 hour walks lately... mostly uphill to the trail. I wonder what my potential is when I can do that after being sedentary for years and not very active before that. It feels good... I think it reset my back or something because today I can walk upright for the first time in my life and it feels right!

A Shadow of a Dog - Rusty the Miniature Schnauzer

Rusty is Pepper's little brother and is about 6 months younger. My grandparents kept him and let him run free on the ranch. Easy for a hound... but Schnauzers require more attention.
