About Me/Them: (Please ask your Pet Kid(s) what they want you to say about them.): I am a pet lover and my two rats are the first rats I have ever had.
Shadow is a really hyper girl and LOVES getting into trouble.
Carmel is sometimes playful, but once she has had her time, she just lays down and sleeps. It's awfly cute =]].

Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?: Well I was supposed to go get a hampster.
But when me and my dad got the store we saw these really cute rats. So we got them. Ended up having to take them back because my mom was furious. Then the next day she felt guilty and let me go back to the store and get them.
But snowy then died later, I don't know why.
It was really sad.
So I got another one.
Her name is Carmel, and those two are like two peas in a pod.
Or however that saying goes.

Likes:: Shadow likes climbing on everything in her cage, and carmel likes to folow in her footsetps.

My Favorite Toys:: Favorite toy is their food dish and their little ball that has little beads in it.

At 2:29am on November 21, 2007, Aina Kintsu said…: Rats can hiccup to :3 My girl, Peanut, actually hiccuped for the first time last week. Freaked me out, but I did a bit of research. Most the time, rats will hiccup when you wake them up (this is when Peanut did it) but sometimes hiccups can be confused with having a hard time breathing. As long as she stops hiccuping once you pick her up and then put her back down, then thats what it is, hiccups. But just to be safe, keep an eye out for wet sneezes and clicking in the lungs. If she has either of these it may be a URI problem caused by mycoplasma bacteria (something common in pet rats).
