Lyric is a somewhat shy guinea pig but once he warms up to someone he's happy to be there new BFFL. He's got an amazing attitude and doesn't bite but loves to lick. He loves being held by a small child but his teenage owner is his fave companion. He likes when there are parties cuz he gets lots of attention and treats. When his owner plays her violin he happily purrs next to her on her bed(he's great inspiration) he even like to just chill and listen to the radio. He likes to travel in the car but just short distances and of course the necessary evil of going to the vet annually. Lyric loves the life he lives espicailly cuz when it's pay-day he gets spoiled rotten by 1 over indulgent teenage girl.

I was feeling really depressed during my last year of middle school due to the massive stress i was under partly cuz of school itself but mostly cuz of family issues.After constantly reading about how animals can "work miracles" i got to work on figuring out what animal would work for me and my family. I knew i had to have something in a cage,after my mom got sick from my cat it had been hamsters for the last couple years but i wanted something that wouldnt die every two years like clockwork. I wanted a ferret or rabbit but rabbits were too large according to my mother and ferrets were too smelly and too much work according my stepdad. I finally started looking at guinea pigs thinking they were just oversized hamsters (sorry Lyric) i quickly realised how wrong i was. Guinea pigs were amazing and some medical articles said they were among some of the animals that went to visit patients in hospitals. I showed the info to the parentals and they said that if i bought the guinea pig they'd buy the rest.Lucky for us a friend of the family happened to have her second litter of guinea pigs and needed loving homes for them. I of course picked the one that was "different" from his family because that's how i felt. Once I took Lyric home my life took a turn for the better,he's now my constant inspiration and my reminder that things have to get worse before they can get better - i became depressed but in the end i found him(or he found me) and he was the outcast of his family looking nothing like the rest of them and being the runt but then i saw him and offered a loving home. Lyric is my Life Saver and I couldn't mean that more literally if I tried.

He strongly dislikes people scratching his rump,being held on his back,taking his bi monthly bath,when people don't offer him a treat after he's been very good for them,the thing he hates the most is when his loving owner goes on vacation with out him(hey lyric,i take you every chance i get but some planes don't allow GPs).

Favorite Type of Walk:

I love walking when i'm wearing my harness and i get to romp through the grass,or run around the beach in the evening during the summer.

Favorite Ride:

I love riding in cars but i get a wee bit scared whenever going on a plane even though i'm always in the cabin with Lilly.

My Best Pet Tricks:

I tell Lilly whenever i have to go to the bathroom because i wheek a lot and started running around to be put back in my cage. I'm also amazing at begging for treats. When i'm on the floor runing freely I can follow my owner wherever she goes... even upstairs.

Favorite Music:

I love the classical music my owner plays on her violin but I also love the hip-hop style she dances to at her dance class and whenever she's chillin with friends.

Favorite TV Shows:

ummmm... I prefer to read but I do watch some tv. My favorite shows that I love like no other are What I like about you,House,Wildfire,Gilmore Girls,Lincoln Heights,Gossip Girl,America's Next Top Model,Grounded for Life,8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenaged Daughters,pretty much anything on ABC Family and Animal Planet.
