Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

Neither one of them were planned. I saw Chester in a pet store and he was so cute I borrowed some money and bought him.
I found Dot in a pet store two years later.She was all alone and so tiny and scared.She was shaking. My sister had passed away a few weeks earlier and I was feeling down and when I held Dot she snuggled into me and we were a comfort to each other. She follows me everywhere and loves to be close to me.She is so precious to me.
