Rats: Maud is very shy, but will cooperate for food 8-). Lilly is her daughter & is the most confident with people. Sue is squishy, adorable love, but loves her independence more than hugs.

Dogs: Dakota is very energetic & lovable. She's bigger & heavier than she thinks and loves to knock you over 8-) She's suffering from allergies, which are returning yearly, & we're trying to get to the bottom of them *sigh*.
Max is naughty & loud; He's boss & is spoiled rotten by the parents! He's great to snuggle with on cold days, though. He was diagnosed with epilepsy after a few (frightening) fits, & is on medication to control that.

Cat: Miss Kitty is very vocal, her meow could burst eardrums! ;) If she's not curled up sleeping somewhere, you're most likely find her attempting to open cupboards or sitting on the bathroom sink chewing on the fake plant in the bathroom :-s She dribbles a lot when you pet her, but she loves the attention :p

Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

Rats: I'd been doing a lot of research on ratties, after meeting & falling in love with some friends rats. I didn't intend on buying them from the pet shop, but then I saw Maud. & Sue was to be her cage mate, as I wouldn't keep a single rat. Maud was pregnant, Lilly is one of her daughters.

Dogs: Max was the only male in a litter belonging to our neighbours dog (accidental pregnancy :\). We had an older dog (Toby) & so decided Max could be his little friend.
We got Dakota after Toby passed away. I wanted a Lab, & my parents decided on a female, in hopes it'd be easier to introduce Max. Max, however, is spoiled & didnt take the news too well :p Though they get on better now.

Cat: Miss Kitty was not planned. She was mauled by a dog, which severely injured her left arm. Her original owner couldn't afford the vet treatment, so my mum decided to pay the bill & take the cat. The vet tried to save her arm, she still has it, but its fixed & can't be stretched out to it's full extent. She hardly uses it, but she gets around without any problems :)

Fish: Not planned. My sisters boyfriend, before he was "bf", left a goldfish in a wine glass on our front door. My sister didnt want the fish, so I took her & a friend named her "Amnesia". I bought her a tank, but she died. Since I had the tank.. I purchased new fish. Dementia & Mumbles died shortly after, but Amnesia the second managed to survive. Since she looked like she was going to survive, I got her a new friend, "& co.". They're both doing great, & I'm pleased to finally have some fish survive!

My Favorite Treats:

Rats: veggies (peas, (fresh) corn, broccoli)

Dogs: Max loves his smackos & occasional table scraps, Dakota loves... everything :p
