Mum says I have been rescued through http://www.dogrescue.se
where people in Sweden can adopt dogs like me from Romania.
I am so glad to have found a forever home because when my eyes couldn´t see so well my first family threw me out into the street where I survived for about 4 years before nice people took me to their shelter where they say I lived for some months before my Mum and Dad adopted me.
I had to fly from Romania to Sweden together with a dog friend and a kind lady who came to fetch us and help with lots of documents they said I needed to come to a new Country. The shelter Vet had to give me something called vaccinations and tests people wanted in my new Country. Mum and Dad met me at the airport and brought me to my forever home.
Life is wonderful now, I am so happy to have my own home and have warmth and care every day and I just adore Mum and Dad and lots of kids called family!

Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

After Leo and Faxe left for the rainbowbridge we decided we wanted to open our home for another shelter dog.
Astro is our 10th adopted dog. All of them are special and giving a shelter dog a home is a wonderful experience.
Astro is a special needs dog (30% eyesight) which would have made it much harder for him to find a forever home.
We are so happy to have this honor.

Likes:

Love my food, My resources ( bed, toys,blanket, brush,favorite squeeky toy and everything else my Mum and Dad have given me) I have never had any resources before!

Kind people and kids

Pet-Peeves:

Dogs that bark at me and rush forward to say Hi. I only have 30% eyesight and I can´t always see where they are coming from.
Traffic, water, anything I might fall into if I don´t see it.

Nicknames / And by Whom:

Astro Romain - Mamma

Anatol - the kind people at Save the Dogs gave me this name,but Mum and Dad think it ´s a bit long to call, so it is my second name.

My Favorite Toys:

My blue snake that squeeks.
My Fuzzy ball.

My Favorite Treats:

Dental sticks and everything else I get (I just love my food and any treat available!) It all tastes great.
When I was homeless, I was had to eat what I could find.

Where I can run in the grass

Anywhere, as long as Mum and Dad are there too.

Can´t do any yet. I have only been in my forever home 2 weeks.
