I wish I could do that, but I love other animals to and it wouldn't be safe for the ratties. I hope to have a ratty room once I move into my own place and have a good steady job. Have you ever seen the ferret nation cages? They're HUGE! There is a girl on the community I mentioned that has 2 of them and she has a mixed colony (all fixed) that live in them. Hey, just out of curiosity, did you know that getting your female rats spayed before they are 6 months old, reduces their chance of tumors from 70% to 4%!? I wish I had known before my girls were reached 6 months, then maybe Sheila wouldn't have hers now. Just thought I would let you know.

You can try bitter apple for rats (I think you can find it online) and see if that works. Didn't work for me though, my girl Sheila (the one who likes to chew on everything) thought it was candy. >.< You can try teaching her no... but I am not quiet sure how you could go about it.
