2001 Grizzley on a Rock Lamp" won 2 ribbons

The Grizzley you see there, is one of my pieces of art that i entered in the Calgary stampede in 2001, it took 2 ribbons. Which was so exciting as only the best crafters in the world are accepted to the 'CALGARY STAMPEDE', i had previously entered and did not win. I knew the competition was tough, but i took 2nd in my class and 3rd in the division. I did this piece in memory of my mom who loved my work, .. this piece went on to get me 2 more commission's pieces which were 2500.00 a piece. No two are the same. Sad part is as no one sells white wear any more, so i cant get the casts to paint. Which is so sad as its a very easy art form for kids and firing is required!
