Devils Delights

For 12 cup cakes you will need. Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees, racks center

11/2 cups of all purpose flour

1/2 tsp of baking powder.

1/2 tsp of baking soda

1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder.

1 cup of white sugar

1/2 tspn of salt.

1 cup of warm water.

1 tspn of vanilla extract, (pure)

6 tblspns of Crisco vegetable oil.

optional 24 whole pecans.

12  muffin liners, and either 2/ 6 muffin trays or 12 cup tray

pam spray

Filling

4oz of cream cheese, 1 regular package makes 2 batch's

2 tablespoon of beaten egg.

6 tbsp of white sugar.

1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Take out cream cheese and put in warm place or zap for 20 sec

Directions

In a bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt, mix well. In another bowl mix all the wet ingredients , mix water, vanilla, and oil. mix well. Then add to dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well.Spray muffin tray with pam just on top of the muffin tray to stop the batter from sticking to the muffin tin, the liners will line the muffin tin cup and stop the batter from sticking in the cup.! Then spoon 2 tablespoon of batter in to each cup, (this recipe does 12 to 16, depending on size you want, 12 is bigger, 16 goes farther) add 2 pecans to batter, by pushing them into the cup cake.(combine cream cheese , egg, sugar, cream together, then add chocolate chips) Then Spoon 1 tablespoon of filling over the nuts in the center of the cup cake.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min, check by using a tooth pick checking the batter portion of the cake comes back clean. Remove cup cakes, (check the edges, as they do stick and will rip the cup cake apart, by gentally sliding a knife under the edges.) Remove by gentally prying up with a fork, remove while warm.

These should be stored in the fridge and are awesome both cold and hot!

They can be heated in a microwave for 10 sec then add vanilla ice cream for a heavenly delight
