This is an easy scrumptious meal that everyone will love.

This recipe feeds 2 people, 1 meal, with i serving left over, lots of sauce, if you double the meat, double the sauce. Preheat oven for 350 degrees Fahrenheit .

1 cup of brown sugar or 3/4 cup of honey, any flavor

1 cup of ketchup

1/4 to 1/3 cup of RED WINE VINEGAR or RASPBERRY VINEGAR, or any other flavor but white wine

1/4 cup of lee and parin WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE,

2 tablespoons of KEENS dry mustard,

1 tablespoon of paprika.

1 teaspoon of granulated garlic or garlic powder,

1 teaspoon of black pepper,

1/2 teaspoon of celery seed,

1/2 teaspoon of LAWERYS seasoning salt, or regular salt

1 teaspoon of chili powder,

optional spicing to your tastes are:

1/2 teaspoon of cajun seasoning. or 1/4 tspn of sage powder

2 large strips of pork ribs, cut to 3 ribs each piece, remove excess fat

In a large pot, dash of salt to boiling water, add pork ribs, let them boil for 20 min, longer if they are frozen, just until you see them come off the bone. In a large shallow baking dish, mix the above ingredients together, add the pork, mix so sauce covers the pork. Now this can burn, but you need to allow the vinegar to cook off, (start with 1/4 cup of vinegar 1st to be safe) cook 30 to 45 mins. Ribs are already cooked by boiling them, i use this same technique for cooking ribs on the bbq, boiling ensures they are cooked and safe and you don;t burn them. So i smell them if i still smell vinegar back in they go for another 10 min, cook them until they look like thisThese could be cooked a little longer, just until they are golden tips.

If its hot out you can make this recipe, put it in a metal container, one you may not want to wash and can toss, and cook in the bbq covered.

i serve these with whipped smashed baby potatoes, a tossed salad or basmati rice and baked cheese corn. It will be hit with the fussest guests.

I made this up and froze it and my gf family threw them in to the oven and were awesome, so they can be made in advance of any party.. enjoy!!

Huhu Wanda ,you mean 350 degrees fahrenheit, yes??My Oven collaps at 180 degrees celsius!!!Madre!!!which Chili powder do you use?

Lg.Jo.

Yes sweetie everything with us is Fahrenheit.. u can use any chili powder u like. if you want to cook out side, leave one side of the bbq one and put the ribs on the other side!! this way they will not burn!!

u make them for eric and mom, just dont put too much vinegar, boil the ribs good 15 min and they are cooked then, then you put the sauce on till is golden brown,, Eric will be impressed!!

It is a little exspensive, maybe 35:00 dollars, by small quantities, u make lots of potatoes, cheap veggies or corn, off set the cost of the meat 3 racks, or 2double packs will do it cut them 3 ribs wide!! They r my favorite, u can cook the ribs, throw the cold sauce on and freeze the ribs, u just take them out throw them in the oven covered, at 300 degrees..mom I am going to buy some ribs tomorrow!!! A trick to cooking ribs especially Mandy is to boil them first 15 min take em u can take them out and then spice them with garlic powder, lawrys seasoning salt, pepper and cook for a bit and then add BBQ sauce on the BBQ , killer every time and u KNOW they are cooked thru due to the boiling.. Have the boys chip in to pay for the ribs, as the spices are expensive at first, but once you have them, u can make it about 6 times!! Every person I have made this dish for loved it!! Hugs
Really pork is really cheap here about 16.00 cn for 2 racks!! Go for it
