Montana Bear Tragedy
   
This is a very sad story about a bear.  Everybody should heed the warning to not feed wildlife because they become dependent and cannot forage for themselves anymore.
This is such a tragedy to see what they have done to our country's wildlife!  
The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect US wildlife  . . . .

feeding any wild animal can be dangerous. even ducks. Feeding this birds keeps them from migrating, and starting to stay in lakes because there fed. Once animals become dependent on humans for food, they become use to humans, and may become agressive if not fed quickly enough.

you are right on all counts. but people mean well they just need to use common sense. btw a bear with no teeth is called a gummy bear. hee hee. hey it was just a joke.

Love the gummy bear thing!!  I had meant to post this on making people laugh but screwed up!!!  I just thought that was really cute with the bear at the picnic table!!

Actually Kathi we have this picture up here and in alberta, its even illegal in the mountains to feed birds in the spring and summer, as the birds are attracted to the feeders. But i thought this was hailarious honey, we all need a giggle.

We actually had some drug dealer in british columbia, feeding 10 to 20 bears dog food to protect his pot??!!@#@#, once he was found out, he was charged of coarse and they were able to ween most of the bears off the food. But they were so complain cent around the forestry guys, we were super peeved at this guy. What a moron. All the bears were relocated, but they will always have no fear of people as many were families, and cubs. i will try and find that post. i think it will be on fb as there was a huge up rising..

I love bears, always have since I was a little child!!!  There is a wonderful web site about bears www.bears.org   The Dr who leads this research is fantastic.  There is never any harm done to them, no tranquilizing etc.  They have a web cam set up in one of the dens and Lily is going to have cubs so all of this will be video taped, she now has a yearling with her Hope.  If you are interested check it out, I have been following for a year now and watched as Hope was born.  Totally awsome, I would recommend this site to anyone who is interested in bears.  Hope this doesn't get me blocked from here but it isn't a web site about dogs or cats.

Nah its shouldn;t get you blocked our love for all animals in the world, i put some story about fishermen catching some deer in alaska and they rescued them into their fishing boats and then let them go,so cool.. big hug hunny wanda

Because I left a web site address and they request not to do that.  It is www.bear.org  if you are interested it is a wonderful site all about black bears, they have a den cam and are expecting "Lily" to give birth any day now.
