9 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR DOG ......WHATS YOUR TAKE ON THIS

I Personally am for the the spaying/neutering our pets  here are some of the reasons why i agree with this , id love to hear what you think about this topic

1.The top reason for spaying/neutering is to avoid unwanted prgnancies or litters, everyone loves puppies  but not everyone is willing to take on the responsibility of an unplanned litter, the shelters are jammed packed with unwanted pets  why add more

2. vets say that your female dog will live a longer happier healthier life, spaying before her first heat reduces the chance of uterine infections and breast cancer,Breast cancer is around 50% fatal in un spade female dogs

3.spaying your dog means she will never go through heat

4.a male dog will also benefit from being neutered if neutering is completed before 6months old , this greatly reduces your dogs chance of having testicular cancer and other prostrate problems

5. neutering  lessens your male dogs urge to roam

6.neutering in male dogs promotes better behaviour,a un neutered male still has the urge to mount and mark his territory

7.dog spaying can be cost effective, although at the time it may seem expensive for this operation, its not nearly as much as the cost of care for an expectant female

8. many people believe that neutering makes your dog fat, Not so.Too much food and not enough exercise is what makes your dog fat,so long as you maintain your dogs diet and he has adequate excercise this should maintain a healthy body weight

9.last but not least by spaying your female dog you wont have the hassle of stray /wandering male dogs hanging out around your home while your female is on heat

All wonderful points I don't know anything I can add except that it is the responsible thing to do, have your pet spayed or neutered.

I have always had this done, I think it prolongs their lives and they are a much better and happier pet.  No roaming, and no unwanted visitors trying to get to a female.

thanks kathi for your comments, ive always had my  pets spayed/neutered like you say  it can prolong their lives and be happier too

have a wonderful tuesday friend   xxx hugs from us to all of you xxxx
