Only a few hours left to vote.

Hi everyone,

Today is the last day of polling in the Preditors & Editors Readers Polls. With just a few hours left to go, Requiem for the Ripper is in 2nd place in the poll for best thriller and Glastonbury is in the lead in the mysteries. Please could I politely ask anyone who hasn't yet voted to vote for my nominations and perhaps secure Glastonbury's place and maybe push Requiem for the Ripper up to the top slot? Polls close at midnight GMT.

Comment by Brian L Porter on January 27, 2011 at 9:13am: Hi Crystal, My 'grown up' books are thriller novels but Tilly's Tale, written as Harry Porter is the true story of Tilly, my pack leaders life so far. She is a very remarkable dog and that book won two awards last year. You can see it at Amazon.com where they are currently offering a 15% discount. I have the second inmy Dog Tales series, Dylan's Tale due out very soon and each of those books will tell the life stories of my own rescue dogs in their own 'wrods' as though written by the dogs themselves. Thanks for trying to vote, but yes, the polls closed a couple hours ago.

Comment by Brian L Porter on January 27, 2011 at 8:29am: Thanks so much Kathi. The polls are now closed and they will do all the checks etc they have to do to weed out fraudulent and multiple votes and so on so we won't know the final results for about 2 - 3 weeks. Fingers crossed!!!
