Long Time ... No see!

Hey All My Furry Paw Friends,

I have been busy...since my puppy days! My "mama" can't remember the password so she has started this "big boy" page. Please visit Mister Hamilton to view my puppy pics. I won't be able to comment or post anything new there or even approve friend request from that page. Boo! I will be 4 years old on May 19th, 2013. I have been a handful since my puppy days. I have become very protective of "mama ham" and growl sometimes when people get close. Makes… Continue

Finding Your New Pet

During a communication session, after hearing how my friend and client, Patt Sendejas, located her adorable Golden Retriever pup, Bear, I asked Patt if she would mind sharing her story on my Blog. I felt her story about finding Bear would help others recognize the miraculous ability the Universe has of uniting two individuals as long as we stay out of its way. So many struggle after the loss of an animal companion. They are afraid to open themselves up…

Pain relief for dogs

About a year ago my Sassie tore a cruciate ligament in her hind leg, the vet wanted to do surgery but the cost would have been $3,000.00, I opted for keeping her still and not allowing her to run around.  Sassie recovered from this and then tore the cruciate in her other leg, more quiet time and pain meds, I thought it would end up that she would have surgery on both legs.  Well over a couple of months she started to improve, but she still has pain and didn't get around well.  I found out…

Keeping Your Dog Fit and Healthy

Just like any you and I, your dog can gain unhealthy levels of weight and suffer from low energy levels due to being too inactive, especially in the winter. There are ways, however, to combat this with a few simple exercises and everyday physical activities for your dog. Some of these will even work great…

New Year Thoughts & Wishes

I want to thank everyone who has allowed me to give voice to their animals and facilitate healing for them in 2012. Without your trust in my abilities, I would not be able to help heal the human-animal bond. I also want to thank everyone who has purchased both of my books this past year. The comments I receive on how my words have helped enrich your lives is worth far more than any income derived from them.

I was pleased to mail checks yesterday to the three charities that a portion…

Advice on Puppies this Holiday Season

As much as I disagree about giving pets as gifts during the holidays, I know it is going to happen. I only hope that everyone remembers that a new puppy is no ordinary gift; it isn't something that can be put in a closet or the attic when your attention for it runs out. Puppies are loving companions and need to be shown that same amount of unconditional love for the rest of…

Scare!

The Scare!

The winter in Louisiana has always been rather peculiar. One winter it will be so cold that your sure ice will grow on the tip of your nose if you stay outside to long. The next one you'll be sporting a tank top and short-shorts. It hasn't been any different this year except for the fact we've been getting a little of both. …
