Hello, I just wanted to share an experience with everyone else.  My Shih Tzu/Peke, Pebbles, has had skin issues since we got her when she was 12 weeks old.  She turned 2 years old this past August.  For the last few months, she's had bald spots where she'd been scratching.  I know what it's like to be so itchy so I really wanted to help Pebbles.  I have been researching and trying things that I've found out about.  Finally, we have progress!  I am using Apple Cider Vinegar, diluted, both on her skin & coat and I give her some, also diluted, in a dropper at least twice a day.  She now has hair growing in where she was bald!  Her feet are not hot and swollen!  Her eyes have quit dripping and staining her white fur.  You should see her run around in the yard!  It feels so good to be a winner! If you want to read up on the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar, here is the link:    http://www.earthclinic.com/Pets/acvfordogs.html#ALLERGIES

I am really impressed with this so I am hoping that others can get some benefits as well!  I will also give credit to the Dr. Goodpet company.  They have a product which is Canine Formula Digestive Enzymes.  I believe that this is putting good bacteria into Pebbles's digestive tract.  Good bacteria kills bad bacteria which means a healthier body.

The link above has answers to your questions

I am going to try this on Katie as she is always licking and chewing on her feet and front legs. I am also feeding her a better grade of canned dog food and she is getting silkier hair.  Don't you give a small amount of apple cider vinegar by mouth and then treat the itch spots by just dabbing it on them? Gladys

P.S. Make sure you read the report that ison line about this. Don't mess with anything like this unless you talk with your Vet. first as it can also cause problems if your dog gets too much acid, can make them very ill. Get a good vets in put.

As i only do herbal treatments with mine and they do very well,i also make their own food and treats as i try hard to keep them healthy.

Sounds like a very good one, I will pass this to my friend. Her dog recently treated using Frontline she got at good price from petstreetmall store and works well but asking for something that would help on the allergies..
