Meet My Pets!

Hello, I'm Geppetto, a six year old orange tabby cat. I love cuddling with mommy when she's trying to do school work. When daddy comes home I love begging for food as he winds down from a hard day at work while eating in front of the television. My mommy and daddy adopted me six years ago when they were seniors in High School. Mommy had to hide me from her mom because she was told she couldn't get another pet. I'm glad she disobeyed! I love my home, my parents, andmy pet siblings! 

Hi, I'm Cricket! I just got adopted by my mommy and daddy from the Philadelphia SPCA. I had a little sister, but some man adopted her! I hope she loves her new home just as much as I love mine! I'm an 8 month old lighter orange tabby cat that is full of energy. I love running up and down the steps in our new home and I love picking on my new brother! When I'm not running around like a nut, I'm usually looking out the windows, cuddling up on the couch, or sleeping in my favorite spot, the bathroom sink.

Hello everyone, I'm Chili Pepper the chinchilla. My daddy bought me for my mommy as a birthday/graduation present a year ago! I was a surprise and when my mommy opened my box, she cried because she was so happy. I think she always wanted a chinchilla. I get spoiled with my favorite treats, wooden pretzel sticks. My favorite thing to do is sleep in my hammock or jump around in my cage.  I love to get scratched behind the ears and under the chin. Sometimes I like belly rubs too!

Hello Samantha, Geppetto, Cricket and Chili Pepper, and welcome to PBP!!:) I'm new to the site myself.

Your Geppetto is such a handsome boy! He reminds me a lot of my Skittles! (RIP Skiski, 5/8/12) Skiski had mackerel coloring, but they kinda look like they may have similar face structure (don't know for sure, can't tell if they do for sure with only one pic!:P) and Skittles also had that little bit of pooch that stuck out from him when he would lay on his side! I love orange cats, they were my favorite until I found Skiski. Now I adore the mackerel colorings, but I don't think that I'll be getting another, it would just be too much for me! Anyhow, do you think that they look at all alike? (You know what he looks like and I'm picking the photos that show Skiski at his Skiski-est!)

Anyhow, Cricket is adorable! I'm guessing you like orange cats? Haha, my mom likes them best. She says that they all just have sweet personalities. I think most kitties do, unless taught to be unpleasant, though I know that's not always the case (one of my mom's cat turned into just a mean little thing for no reason. Sometimes she let's you pet her, but generally wants to be left alone haha) Skiski wasn't happy being with other cats, and until Ziggy, he hated all other dogs too! It took a while for he and Ziggy to be okay enough with one another to sleep next to each other, but it was something that never would have happened with any other dog (I mean it, even though they weren't comfy with each other, Skiski was interested in him in a curious sort of way, and every other dog he's ever been around has put him into fight and/or fight) We plan to get three cats when we get another. Two kittens and an older kitty! From the Humane Society:P

Chili Pepper is adorable. I love Chinchillas. I always wanted one until about a year ago. I got a pair of Guinea Pigs and learned that I hated having small, furry, caged animals. I loved the animals, but cleaning cages was something that I hated with a firey, burning passion that is met by no other! I have no clue why, but I went to the beach with my friend and then I got a call from my boyfriend, explaining Skitz had died. (I had Skitz and Lynn) We were both in shock Not even two hours before she was behaving perfectly fine.. I was so sad:( After that, since you are supposed to have them in pairs, I wound up rehoming Lynn:( (And I HATE when people rehome their pets, I feel bad about it all the time, I just hope that they can afford to spoil her with as many chewies and toys as she could want!)

Now, let me introduce my only current pet: Ziggy, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi!:P

Ziggy is soo lazy, all he wants to do is lay in bed, snore, eat, potty and lay down again! He's adopted and tomorrow will have been four months that he came to live with us! He still doesn't trust us all the way, but he's starting to. We are moving in eleven days and we will be seperated for about five days for transport and I hope that this doesn't hurt our progress! I'm hoping that it will help him realize that even when things get weird, if they ever do again, that we ARE coming back for him! He is such a sweet boy, and he's really smart, but like I said, lazy. He's very manipulative to get what he wants! (Shorter walks, getting treats, etc.)

Absolutely adore him!
