Let's try this again, DC was nominated for the episode " I don't want to die" for the un sung heroes the camera men. Matt and Todd.
Keith hired this kid, Chris to come out this season, he had never seen the ocean. IN the episode Keith is his grouchy bear self. CHris starts to struggle and comes to Keith to say I can't do it. Keith tells him to suck it up and get back out there. Chris did and within min stumbled into the galley and collapsed. Keith called the CG, while the rest of the crew, took care of Chris who is seizing by this time. HE was clearly in distress, the CG arrives and determines that he is critical, the crew works together to get him on a stretcher and maneuver him out. Once out side on the crab table Chris says I have to pee. Keith says ok buddy, " turn him on his side, and aids Chris in peeing" on the crab table !!! The cg thanked the crew for aiding the medic < with peeing I assume > to the whole crew! Chris was flown in. He is fine today because of the crews quick action. Captain Keith showed an immense amount of compassion to this young man, when Chris said: " I am sorry I let u down " Captain Keith said you didn't u, did a good job for me!!!! " Awe I wanted to cry for this was a wonderful side of Keith we never have seen. I have a deep respect for captain Keith, he did joke that he has gone thru over 30 green horns over the years.. Cheers to u, the crew, who were terrified that Chris may die, and Freddy felt bad for being so tough on Chris!! Stay tuned
