Brindle,blue black red and white a blur of colours zipping by at lightning fast pace the rythm of life these precious sleek hounds hunting the mechanical hare on the tracks the world over. Many loosing their lives at pile ups on the first and second bends of the tracks. Too many precious lives sacrificed in the name of "sport" End the pain and strain. lifeless young hounds shot with a captive bolt gun too slow to make it to the track where their short careers soon come to a halting sudden end painful stop. Yes agony and loneliness yes. The select and lucky few of the many have a diffrent story to tell. The one of a rescue sudden changes in the form of a warm cosy bed someone to love a place to call home more than a crate filled with shredded paper that is both bed and toy for a lonely greyhound. Not so alone anymore part of a new pack called a family.Lifechangers is what they are positive angels on four legs. Everlasting loyal love payed back a thousand fold every day every year always here for us when we return home. Those who have gone to the rainbow bridge we will meet again in the mean time we can make a diffrence in some greyhounds life by letting one or more of them to race into our hearts. I let them race into my heart and I have no regrets no more crates cages or bars in front of grimy windows. Freedom and love is theirs we share this love my hounds and I now you know too.
