My first dog ever, Chansey has been acting like she is going to die, she has been laying in holes in the yard, vomiting, and not eating. She has also been much more lethargic than usual. We took her to the vet today and she was hospitalized for Dr. Horne to take X-Rays. She called back and said that there is a large mass near her spleen. She said that if surgery is done and she sees that the tumor is malignant, then there are 3 possibilities. The first is that there will be a malignant so Chansey's spleen will be removed and she wll live a long healthy life as long as we are cautious of infections and colds.The second is that she will die on the table. The third is that she will die in a few days.

I am so very very sorry Mikkal. I really don't have words good enough to say, during your time of devastating loss. I feel sure this was such a shock, and not expected at all for you. I was pretty stunned just now, when you said Chansey didn't make it. We'll be here for you. I'm so thankful you have Lacey and Bandit.
