Well lets see now, Spikey was born April 26,2007.

He is between 18 and 19 inches long and is absolutely gorgious! He is a "Bearded Dragon". Spike's mother is a Sandfire and Spike's father is a German Giant.

I've had Spike since he was about 6 weeks old, when i first got him he was very small about 5 to 6 inches long and very fragile.

Bearded Dragons don't take change well and when Spike came to me he stopped eating for almost 2 weeks because the move to my place from the tank with his brothers and sisters was so dramatic, i had to had feed him baby food every couple hours so that he would survive. It took almost 2 weeks for him to come around and start eating lettuce and crickets on his own!

He is very friendly and loves to come out and lay on me as often as i have time to take him out, Bearded Dragons are extremely beautiful and friendly lizards.

On New Years Eve Spike was transfered to his final tank which is about 65 gallons which is an extremely large tank to have in your living room! And once again Spike decided to starve himself because of the drastic change of atmosphere, it took him almost 5 days before he decided to eat properly on his own this time.

Spike looks great now and has about another 4 to 6 inches of growing left to do and lots of filling out in size and i hope to share all my pictures as he changes.
