This year was Minion's first Christmas, oh it was so cute! She tore right into her gift and opened it all by herself!

We got the last of her booster shots the end of November, along with her Rabies shot. She weighed 16 pounds then, I'm sure she's close to 20 now.

Thanksgiving was ok. It’s always nice to see family, but my grandmother wouldn’t allow us to bring Minion, so we had to leave her home. Tiger, the family dog, is no longer with us. Everyone thought he was hit by a car at first, because he was found collapsed by the road. Apparently a blood clot came loose in his body and traveled to his back end paralyzing him, mean while he struggled to breathe because of a heart murmur. There really wasn't anything that could be done; especially considering how old he was, so he was put down. *Sigh* I guess Minion is the lady of the house now. She's my little girl. Minion checked out fine with the vet, with the exception that they found a parasite in her stool, so today we came home with some medications. My poor little Minion, I knew something was causing her loose bowl movements, and I noticed when she had accidents, she looked like she had no control over it, now I know why. The vet wasn't too concerned, so at least I feel safe knowing it's nothing severe. We go back at the end of the month to follow up on her vaccinations. The vet also noticed she has… Continue

Minion has officially been here 1 week. Time flew by quick. Tomorrow is her first appointment with the vet, I got her little stool sample ready, which I'm glad we're going because she's been really soft and runny lately. Yea I know you all wanted to know that, ahah. Only one accident today, but I think it was due to all the excitement from the children my mother and I babysit together. I was glad to see her so excited to play with them. After a while she had enough and went about her own business. She slept a lot durning the afternoon, but of course later this evening she was a fiesty girl. She finally came home Friday afternoon. My husband took time off work to go get her. Minion is quite a character. She was a little reluctant at first, but warmed up to us very quickly.
