Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?: Abigail was thought to be a boy and given as a gift to a little boy. He named "him" Tigger..... "Tigger" was soooooo tiny, too tiny to have been away from "his" mother and WAY too tiny to be a pet for a 2 1/2 year old boy. "Tigger" would seek refuge from the toddler by climbing up the arm of the couch and nestling on my shoulder. After only one month in "his" new home he was being packed up and shipped out. As soon as I found out I snagged "Tigger" and took "him" home with me. It took me about a week to figure out that this "him" was actually a "her" and her name was changed to Abigail (Abbi). She's been with me ever since - she turned 8 this year. My beautiful Abbi is extremely smart, she can sit on command and will shake a paw for me. She's got so much personality and I absolutely ADORE her!

I once had one that I swear had ESP. Whenever it was outside and I wanted it to come in, all I had to do was think of her and there she would be at the back door, meowing.
