Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

i was at a camp one day and my mom and dad called my counselor and they talked to me and said we are getting a new dog and i was so excited. and it was my eleventh bday and we were going to stapples well i thought we were. and my parents started going into the pet store and that day i knew i was getting a hamster.
