About Me/Them: (Please ask your Pet Kid(s) what they want you to say about them.): gussie is a yorkshire terrier, he's about to go to a groomer for a "summer" hair cut. He's also scheduled for surgery (neutering) on Friday. He's a spunky little guy, I hope he doesn't change that.......but I would like to see him stop "marking" everything. I rescued him last fall, I think he spent all of his life in a crate, for breeding. He was just like a new puppy, he didn't know anything at all. Not even his name. He was eaten up with fleas, and had lost all of his hair from his ribs back from digging and biting the fleas. Now he's beautiful. and still a little hesitant about doing a lot of things, like getting into a car. He still crouches down when I reach for him, and if somebody picks up a news paper or fly swatter he's terrified. He's coming out of his shell though. Little by little, he's learning to trust us. He's 2 1/2 yrs. old, so I look forward to a long time to enjoy him. I'll put on some pictures soon. A before and after the groomer cuts his hair. I don't know how, so I'll have to get my son to do it.

Personality Characteristics:: Sweet, Gentle, Energetic, Playful, Loving, Shy, Social Butterfly, All Bark and No Bite, Funny, Sensitive, Loyal

Likes:: Food, food and more food. I think he had to scrambel with other dogs for his share of food before I rescued him, at first he would grab a bite of food and run with it, eat it and come back for more. Now, he wants everything he smells. My grandchildren drop stuff on the floor for him, Every time somebody spills something they call him.......I doubt I'll ever get him stopped from begging.

Pet-Peeves:: He hates a stick or long toy or anything like that......if my grandson plays with anything of that nature, he goes and hides.

My Favorite Toys:: anything that squeaks.......and the grandchildrens little toys

Favorite Ride:: very hesitant and unhappy about getting in the car, and crys a lot

My Best Pet Tricks:: just sitting up pretty.....haven't tried to teach him much yet. Just got him house broken and that was a major task......he hadn't had any training at all when I got him.

(1) In upper left column of screen, look under faceless avatar (photo).
(2) Click on "Change My Profile Photo"
(3) Under "Account", which is the page you should be on, look for "Profile Photo”. You will see a little button that looks like a photo. Click on that button.
(4) Then click on "Upload an image from your computer", then the "Browse" button. Select a jpg or gif image file. You do NOT have to upload a pic of yourself. In fact, for younger members, we prefer that you upload a pic of your pet. Click on "Done".
(5) MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON THE "SAVE" BUTTON AT BOTTOM OF THAT WINDOW. And you are done.
