Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

My mother bought Peek on a whim right after we had given our other dogs away. She was a little furball running around the floor and she had to have her. The Winter Olympics were on at the time and she is named after Peekaboo Street, the downhill skier.
I adopted Slick when I started dating my boyfriend. Slick was rescued by a friend of my boyfriends from some people that were trying to fight him. They were going to kill him b/c he wouldn't fight and so they got him and kept him for awhile before giving him to Jamie. He has been one of mine for almost two years now and he is a sweetheart.
My boyfriend had been wanting an teacup Chihuahua forever and he had looked and looked but couldn't ever make up his mind. In the meantime, we were going through some pretty rough stuff and so the night before Thanksgiving we drove 3 hours to meet a man with two teacups. It was love at first sight for Diezel and us. Everything ended up working out for us and so now my boyfriend jokes that the only reason I am still with him is b/c of Diezel.
