Mid June 2002 - I was at the mall with my cousin, as we were passing by the pet store, I knew I had to make a pit stop, like always, to see/wave & coo at the pets. My cousin suggested he would love a cat, but wasn't all too sure if he should make the final transaction on actually purchasing a cat. With a little persuasion and reverse-psychology, I got him to agree to buying a cat, and to top it off, it was the cat I was saying that looked really cute and cuddly. He did all required in order to finalize the sale, and soon we we're off to the car with a little kitty in a box!! We were so excited, my cousin drove to his house happily to show off the kitten to his parents, only to be saddened. His mother freaked out about the kitten and wanted nothing to do with it!! His only recourse is to return the cat, which he couldn't or find it another home. I stepped in and took the kitten!! I got a free kitten and the one I wished I bought at the pet store!!! After, all these years, I'm so happy I got Milo!!! <3

December 2003 - Within the same mall was the same pet store where Milo was purchased, my Hunnie Kevin and I find ourselves looking at the pets once again. I had decided and somewhat convinced my mom to getting a dog this time. My original choice was a tan coloured pomeranian. I vowed to return the next day with my mother, so she can see the dog, but that didn't happen, she had to work early. I went back to the mall just to go to the pet store to see the pomeranian again- but another dog had also caught my eye: a shih-tzu. The runt of the family, the puppy left out of playing and meal time. My heart broke, and suddenly I found myself, not wanting the pomeranian anymore and having a change of heart. The weekend rolled around rather slow, but when Saturday came, Kevin, my Mom and myself rushed to the pet store. My mom could finally see the pomeranian && the shih-tzu. But, when we got there, the pomeranian had been sold. I was upset, but not for long, the shish-tzu was still there. My mother primarily didn't want the doggie, she said it looked ugly. But I ignored her remarks and decided for the saleslady to show me the puppy. So, she did!! Placed the shih-tzu in my arms, and automatically, I knew she had to be mine!! I placed her in my moms arms, and she said she stinks and she has no face, just fur!!! But, once again with a little persuasion, the decision was made ..... the shih-tzu was bought!! Now that runt, is my princess ....... Stitch <3
