Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

Max: Max was purchased from a breeder who sold us a very sick cat. We did our homework but in the end he almost died three days after we got him. Luckily for us he recovered and is the BEST most loving cat we have ever had. Everyone loves him. PS He thinks he is a dog :)
Ruby: Ruby is more of a typical cat that wants love when she wants love. She is my husbands cat as she loves nothing more that to sit in his lap and sleep while dad plays XBox
Petey: Petey is our sweet, neurotic boy that we rescued from teenagers selling him on a very hot summer day. He was too small and nearly dead from heat exhaustion. When I confronted the boys and threatened calling the cops the ran off and left him. Luckily we nursed him to health and he is the cutest lil thing ever.
Ralphie: Ralphie came into our home last summer and has been the best pal of Petey ever since. He is super smart and outgoing and has helped Petey come out of his shell. He is mostly mommy's dog but loves everyone.
Baby: Baby is my dream come true. I always wanted birds and he was my first. I got him when he was 2yrs old and he was full of piss and vinegar. After several months of behavior modification he became the most loving and funny bird. He loves his Mommy best but will go to anyone.
Lily: Lily is a new member to our family as of Thanksgiving. She has one owner for her first 11 years then when he past away he ended up at a local bird store. I fell in love with her and she of course fell in love with Dad. Although Dad is her favorite..when he's not around..she loves and snuggles just fine.
Violet: Violet is a tiny little pistol that belongs to my middle daughter. She loves riding around on her shoulders all day but don't mess with her cage or she will go after you. Thankfully she is the size of a finch so her bites sting but wont exactly take a finger off :)
Arnold: Little Arnold Swartzenhampster is my oldest daughters and he is so darn cute and when he eats he sticks out his shoulders and looks all buff...hence the Swartzenhamster name.
