I have gone to the rv website but am confused on where to write about travel and camping with your animals (birds and dogs is my area).
If anyone has questions they can get me here.
Happy traveling,
Terri, pack & flock
Collars, tags and leashes, and any treats or meds, food dishes for water and food and carry gallon water bottles from home in case you don't trust the water at the camp site. You may think about a tie-out or doggie fence. With 5 dogs some have to fenced. Bring tick repellend wipes because ticks love dogs who go through trails, or even hanging out. After hiking check your dogs over good for ticks cuts, bruises etc. Always have a first aid kit for you and them.
We carry some toys that always stay just for camping. Dog crates may be considered for dogs that are left behind which we don't do but have seen fellow campers do it.
Make sure they have their food, plenty of water, exercise and safety places beit dog crate, doggie fence, or tie-out and camping is a blast with 4 legged friends. If anyone wants to know about camping with birds or leaving birds at home for a weekend or 3 day travel, I'll be glad to discuss camping with birds.
Have fun!

I have my pets microchipped. I know it is a little costly but trust me it is well worth the price! There is such comfort in knowing it cant fall off, cant be removed and any shelter will always check for it if your pet is brought there and it can be a matter of life or death for your pet if they cant locate you in time. I also add an i.d. tag just for quick identification in case they end up at some ones home or business.
Thanks! I found a pretty good site for pet travel. I'm not sure it's exactly what you're looking for. I'll try to add some good content soon on this topic.

P.S. Had to edit the first comment I added, so I will delete that one.
