Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?: There are times things happen in your life and you can't quite figure out what had to happen in what order for you to be in the right place at the right time. What did you do to deserve what gift you have been given. I had a friend in school named Ric - I found him on Facebook a while ago - which in and of itself was a blessing. I didn't know then what an impact this man would have on my life at this age, 22 yrs after school. I truly believe in fate, karma, pay it forward whatever it might be. I have always tried to be a good person, tried not to bemoan my fate and have always been thankful.

During a conversation Ric mentioned that he had a friend who desperately needed a home for a young Golden Retriever named Noah - did I know anyone. Me! ME! I said, within 24 hours this beautiful boy has come into my life and is curled up next to me - sleeping.... he is mine, I feel like we have been together forever.

For those of you that don't know Ric let me tell you and at the same time thank him in such a small insignificant way - I can't for the life of me think of how to thank Ric... and I hope this comes across in the only way it's intended, from the bottom on my heart.

Ric did this for no benefit to himself, for no other reason other than to see people happy ... it Ric's words on a cloudy day, "today the sun is shining, people are happy" this is truly the characteristic of a wonderful man, a true friend.

LOL In case you don't know how to accept friend requests, if you look in upper left corner of screen, you will see an email envelope - - next to it is your friend icon. Also, you should be able to accept from your page. To request friends, you go to member TAB, select a member icon to go to their page, and click on "Add as friend" under their member icon.

Detailed Instructions:
(1) In upper left column of screen, look under faceless avatar (photo).
(2) Click on "Change My Profile Photo"
(3) Under "Account", which is the page you should be on, look for "Profile Photo”. You will see a little button that looks like a photo. Click on that button.
(4) Then click on "Upload an image from your computer", then the "Browse" button. Select a jpg or gif image file. You do NOT have to upload a pic of yourself. In fact, for younger members, we prefer that you upload a pic of your pet. Click on "Done".
(5) MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON THE "SAVE" BUTTON AT BOTTOM OF THAT WINDOW. And you are done.
