These two are a handful, i guess i didn't know what to expect. I have always had dogs but never more than one at a time. When they are appart they listen but they are a bombshell when they are together. I think they believe they can take on the world together. I dont think i have ever seen them sleep appart. The first day i brought them home they were so scared and depressed from leaving their mommy, but i think they felt better because they weren't alone. I love them and i couldn't ask for any other dogs...even though they have torn everything i ever owned in my backyard including the fence. They are still babies and have a lot of learning to do.

Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

I always wanted a husky and a girl in my class had this beautiful pure white husky that had gotten pregnant. She asked if i wanted a puppy and i flipped. When i was little that was always my dream dog!!! So of course i excepted and waited till she had the puppies. Well being that she didn't know what breed the father was we really didn't know what the dogs would look like. Then i came over and took pictures of all the puppies and couldn't decide if i wanted Maverick the only one in the litter that looked a husky or Dakota who just seemed like the odd ball. I was so torn that i just decided to take them both. I couldn't turn down my childhood dream of owning my husky and Dakota's peircing blue eyes captivated me. I LOVE MY DOGS!!!

They both chew everything in their path, and of course their bellies scratched!

They do not like when i chace them with the dust pan, i dont know why but it is really funny

My sister calls Dakota "Dakota Fanny" i think she gets that from that little actress girl... i dont know. and she makes fun of Maverick by calling him a sleigh dog.

I cant let them loose just yet cause i am not for certain that they will come back... they have a very short attention spand!

Favorite Ride:

dakota is ok with car rides but Maverick has thrown up 4 times in my car... i dont like to take him to the vet as you can tell but have to!!!

My Best Pet Tricks:

They dont know many tricks i am just getting them to sit for now, but maverick does roll over when i chase him with the dust pan
