Buddy-About 3 weeks after I had to have my old dog SPOOK pts I went down to the local pet shop just to SEE the puppies and as soon as I walked in the door, in the 1st cage..here sits a black toy poodle...just like SPOOK...I couldn't resist getting him! It was like an omen!

Junebug-Junebug was bought from a breeder I heard over the radio advertising a black, female toy poodle. We wanted a campanion for Buddy who was bought 6 months prior. I named her Junebug after my old dog SPOOK who I lost in June and in the midst of saying goodnight to SPOOK I saw a lightning bug land on my bedroom screen and lite up at that exact same moment, so I knew 6 months before I even got her I had her name picked out. She's my little hunting dog. She trees squirrels and I can't let her off her leash or she'll take off running- chasing a rabbit or some other wild creature she sees. Just her instinct I guess. Still to this day, she pees on her front paws with her hind legs up in the air. I think it's because of when I got her as a puppy at 8 wks. old-(she's 8 yrs. now) in January, she probably thought if she don't touch the ground, she wouldn't get her tushy all wet and cold with the snow.

Buddy wasn't really planned but Junebug was.

Junebug Is allergic to everything so all she can eat is prescription dog food and hypoallergenic dog treats. We found she can have microwaved sweet potatoes that she does ok with...and of course, Buddy has to have the same thing.
