About Me/Them: (Please ask your Pet Kid(s) what they want you to say about them.): Our pets are an integral part of our lives, and the pups in particular are a daily source of inspiration in my studio. They are infinitely patient as my studio models when I'm working out the sculptural details of pet physiology, and are always on hand to give me their unique opinion on the finished works.

Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?: Harley and Joey were definitely planned. Romeo came to us as a homeless animal, as did our cat Little One (who showed up on our doorstep nearly 20 years ago!).

Personality Characteristics:: Sweet, Gentle, Energetic, Playful, Demanding, Loving, Social Butterfly, All Bark and No Bite, Sensitive, Just Self-Confident, Loyal, Regal

Likes:: Well, Labs love just about everything and everyone. Romeo is a little reserved, but once he's bonded with you, he's your friend for life. Little One is so old now -- she's like a little old crotchety lady who wants to just stay warm, sleep, and eat.

What do dogs REALLY feel?

Seems like every day I look at our three pups and wonder what they think about. Aside from food and playing ball, of course.

Judging by the expression on their faces at various times, I wonder if they feel sadness, frustration, anger, and so on. I know they live in the moment and so their attitudes can be fairly transparent, but I still wonder: is there something more that they wish they could tell us?
